CLASS DESCRIPTION: Drawing from my experiences as an independent artist working at the intersections of contemporary dance and somatic practices this class explores the ways that somatic practices can be applied to contemporary dance techniques. Working with improvisation, hands on partner work, and phrase material we engage collectively in taking up space.
